Non-Exempt Staff Application Procedures |
Thank you for your interest in employment at Colorado College. This explanation has been prepared to assist you in our application process.
Position announcements are posted on the HR bulletin board, on the "current openings" page of this web site and some positions are advertised in The Gazette or www.springsjobs.com.
The "application form" is not to be modified in any way. Any modification to the content or format of the application may disqualify the applicant from being considered for the position or be grounds for immediate termination.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications to be considered for a position at CC. SOME POSITIONS MAY REQUIRE A TYPING TEST. Testing is available during regular hours in the HR office only. Previous tests administered by other agencies are not acceptable. Individuals whose qualifications and experience meet the requirements of the position may be contacted for an interview. (Applicants will not be contacted unless selected for an interview.)
Positions are "open until filled" - we will continue to accept applications until a selected candidate has accepted the position. There is no "closing date" for Non-Exempt Staff positions; however applications received after the interviewing process has progressed may not receive full consideration, so please be prompt in applying for any posted position.
Complete EVERY SECTION of the application, including the work history, even if attaching a resume. References should be professional (work related), not personal, if possible. Be sure to read the statements on the back of the application form, and sign and date the form.
Completed and signed applications may be received in person at the Human Resources Office, by mail, or by fax (see "contact us"). Unsigned applications will not be accepted. Please complete the optional EEO page to assist us with record-keeping.
Colorado College reserves the right to verify information on your application and to obtain data regarding your character, general reputation, personal characteristics, or other relevant information. If an inquiry is made, more information as to the nature and scope of the inquiry will be supplied to you upon written request.
